Year 2 Team
Mrs Anderson- Owls (2F) Teacher, Yr2 Lead and Assistant Head
When I was at school my favourite lesson was PE. I have always enjoyed sport and was a netball coach for many years and ran a local Junior club in Medway. Now, I enjoy cycling, going to the cinema (my favourite character is Woody), and walks by the sea.....and let's not forget chocolate!
Mrs Fridd- Kingfishers (2F) Teacher
I love to spend time with my family and friends visiting places together and trying out new things.
Sometimes I like to be a little more adventurous and try out different outdoor activities , sometimes I just like to be more relaxed and enjoy visiting castles and gardens and eating cream teas!
Mrs Stevens- Nightingales (2S) Teacher
I spend lots of my time with my family doing fun things with the children like going swimming and to lots of different play areas. I have also just got a new puppy called ‘Dash’, so we are enjoying taking him for long walks in the woods and exploring new places.
My favourite things to do in my spare time are cooking, playing netball and meeting up with my friends – usually in Costa for a sneaky caramel latte and a lemon muffin!
Mrs Hodges- Nightingales (2S) Teacher
I love visiting different places such as zoos, parks and bowling with my little boys. Hot holidays are my favourite but I also love adventure holidays where we can all bike, walk and swim.
Before teaching I used to be a dance teacher and spent my whole childhood learning to do tap, ballet and jazz- I especially loved all of the glittery costumes!
Mrs Olivares- Woodpeckers (2M) Teacher
Before working at St Margaret’s I was a primary school teacher and a gymnastics coach. I have been lucky enough to visit lots of different countries when I was I competing as a gymnast and still love to watch it on the tv! I have two little boys who have bundles of energy! At the weekend I watch them both play football and rugby and love it even more when the sun is shining! With my family I enjoy camping, especially exploring in the New Forest. I like visiting the beach, crabbing and eating fish and chips!

Mrs Furniss and Mrs Fawcett- Outdoor Learning Teaching Assistants
Mrs Furniss- I really enjoy being outdoors and exploring the countryside with my family. We love going on adventures, climbing up big hills, exploring woodlands and identifying and finding out about trees. During the summer months you will find me at our beach hut where we spend most of our weekend crabbing, paddling, building sand sculptures and relaxing. I love reading books and playing board games with my family when we are at home. My favourite subject to teach is outdoor learning as it is fantastic to see children taking safe risks and feeling confident to explore and develop their own ideas and skills.
Mrs Fawcett- I love being outside and my weekends are spent watching my daughter play netball and my son football. I enjoy meeting my friends for coffee and cake and relax by working in my garden and going to yoga once a week.
