Safeguarding at St. Margaret's

The designated Safeguarding team have a clear and secure framework in place to safeguard and promote the welfare of children and their families in line with the Early Help ethos.

We maintain a professional attitude of 'it could happen here'  where Safeguarding is concerned. Where there are concerns about the welfare of a pupil, staff members will always act in the best interests of the child.

Our school will continue to maintain an ethos where pupils feel secure, are encouraged to talk, are listened to and feel safe.

Prevent Radicalisation and Extremism by Acting Early

It can be hard to know what to do if you’re worried someone close is expressing extreme views or hatred, which could lead to them harming themselves or others.

Act early and share your concerns in confidence. You won’t be wasting time and you won’t ruin lives, but you might save them.
