    Medway Libraries Summer Reading Challenge
Today in school, we had a Summer Reading Challenge assembly delivered by Medway library service. It is a FREE initiative run by the libraries to encourage reading over the Summer. To register, please complete the info on the Space Chase letter that came home last week. Alternatively, pop into your local library. Then, enrol your child in the library or show their red library card and away they go! They need to read at least 6 library books across the summer (the initiative ends on Sept 14th) and log them on their record chart which they get after reading book number 1. After each book that is read, your child will get a reward (stickers that smell, a window sticker, a bookmark etc) and once all 6 books are read they will be issued with a certificate and gold medal. I would like to make a Space Chase Reading Challenge display in school in September so please take a photo of your child with their certificate and medal and send into school so we can see our amazing Reading Ambassadors. I have also attached an image of the website, but you can visit the Space Chase page at www.summerreadingchallenge.org.uk We look forward to seeing photos of you all with your certificates and medals. Happy reading, let the Reading Challenge begin. Mr. Collis Reading Lead
